These are the last pictures taken of Guido and his friends at Terragethen. They were taken on January 23, 2007 and show (left to right) Kayla, Guido, Meaghan and Syngin in Guido's new bed.

July 21, 2007 Update:
At the end of March, all the spayed and neutered dogs were taken from Terragethen and put up for adoption. The Poodles went to a Poodle rescue and the 5 Dachshunds, 3 Chihuahuas and the Weimaraner went to a local animal shelter. Thanks to the help and guidance of Kitten Jones (of Lighthouse Animal Rescue), we were able to contact breed rescue groups and all of the dogs were successfully rescued by them (except Guido, of course, who had his own personal "rescue mission"). Unfortunately, we've heard nothing further about the Chihuahuas (Cheeta, Margaret and Sweetums) or Hetra, the Weimaraner.

As for the Doxies, Kayla and her family (Daughter Syngin and Granddaughter Olympia) were all separated. Olympia was adopted and renamed "Molly". Syngin (renamed "Cindy) and Meaghan (now spelled "Meagan") were placed in foster care together, but are up for adoption separately through the rescue. Kayla went into foster care, also, but, to our knowledge, has never been put up for adoption. And Guido, with the help and cooperation of Becky Wilson, the Director of the Volusia County Animal Control, and her staff, was able to start his new life with Sienna, The Munchkins and their Persons.

August 21, 2007 Update:
In August, it was posted that Meaghan had been adopted and that Syngin's adoption was "Pending".

August 12, 2008 Update:
Great news! We received a private posting in our Guestbook from one of the members of the Poodle rescue group. She rescued the Terragethen Chihuahuas from the shelter and tells us that they have all been adopted and are doing very well!! Thank you so much for that update!
